Hacienda Mexican Restaurant in Kaiserslautern

Unfortunately little disappointed. The food came very quickly but was totally unsalted and they didn't even put us in the napkin how fast they wanted us to be. For 30 euros I find it too expensive. But staff was friendly.

Really awesome Mexican food. We even come from Saarbrücken especially to eat there. The thing about the flags is cute.

The best Mexican there is far and wide, top prices, delicious food, you go out super full. Clear recommendation, both to eat there and to take away.

Good Mexican restaurant with a nice vibe and friendly staff.

If you're looking for bland food this is the place to hit. Had the Chorizo Burrito and it was nothing but refried beans and sliced sausage with grease. A huge dollop of sour cream and lettuce and 2 slices of tomato. Wife had the quesadilla which was mostly onions and what looked like luke warm roast beef.

Very good Mexican food, good prices, nice staff, good atmosphere and a large selection of delicious dishes and drinks. Highly recommended!

Service was great, food was mediocre. The wait fixed the meal mess up on one of the meals (asked for 1 taco beef 1 taco chicken and got 2 chicken tacos) Positives: mango lemonade was amazing, chicken taco was great for the wife Negatives: price for soda (3.25€ for a can sized drink), beans were very bland, the original quesadilla comes packed with onions (not on the menu) and the chili-con-carne tasted like canned chili with added onions and peppers to make it Mexican

I have always enjoyed coming back since I was a child - the food is always excellent, as is the service. And the corn chips and the iced tea refill are still available. I actually always eat a combo plate, and my husband swears by the spare ribs. It is and will remain one of our favorite eateries

Wings were overcooked. Chips were stale. Jalapeno poppers seemed like they had fake cheese in them. Will not go back.

Good food from time to time.

Price where good, clean restaurant, but the flavor was lacking on some dishes. The best thing we ordered was the Mexican pizza, that had all the flavor n was loaded. I had the fish taco n it was missing something n a sauce 2 go with it. I'll go there again coz the margaritas was strong enough n we enjoyed ourselves.

Not authentic Mexican food.

Been going to Hacienda for 23 years. Quality is always great and the staff is friendly. Other restaurants have opened in the last 23 years but they are still my favorite.

I have given this place way more chances than I should've. Every time I've been the chips are usually stale. This last time, though, the salsa was good so I'm glad they changed the recipe for that. Their wings are good but to say it's a Mexican restaurant, the Mexican food is not all that. There are other places around that are much better.

I personally did not care for the food. Everything was smothered in cheese, stuffed with cheese, or tasteless. Great service.

Reminds me of a local place back in California I loved. Chorizo chimichanga was very nice. A/C would have been nice ;-) Update Coronavirus: They have done a great job modifying the restaurant to keep social distance between diners. Installing shields between tables, wearing masks (cooks have full face shields), the menus having the strong smell of alcohol as they are disinfected between diners. Stellar meal, happy to give them business.

Very large selection and still very tasty. You even feel a little overwhelmed when reading the map. The staff is very friendly and you never have to wait long.

Poor service, bland for European-Mexican food, guacamole and salsa are more than likely store bought and nowhere near fresh.

First of all, the things we liked, for which there are two stars: the very nice service from Nepal, the prices, the non-alcoholic cocktail and the ice cream for dessert. Unfortunately, the starter and main course did not meet our expectations. We drove over 100km to have dinner here and unfortunately it was not worth it. The last time I visited the restaurant was 20 years ago, and unfortunately I have to say that the dishes at that time were better by classes. Compared to other Mexican restaurants, the authenticity of Mexican cuisine is lacking here, there is a lack of sophistication in taste and in the attention to detail in the preparation of the dishes. Apparently there is a lack of passion in the kitchen, which unfortunately you can see and taste.

Not as good as i remember but the food was still delicious.

The food was so bad. I had a chimichanga and it was so mushy and had zero taste. I already have low standards for mexican food here but this was not worth the 10 dollars. Just go to cantina or fiesta.

It's alright, definitely not better than La Cantina but nice ambient.

Pretty good food actually. I had the fajita burrito. Looked small at first, but then I struggled to finish it, lol. I love that they give you the free chips and salsa here as well. The little "flag" system is a cute touch. Would definitely come again.
